‘No’: Curzon On Demand & iTunes Release 18Mar2013

Not been able to see No yet? Well now’s your chance!

For two weeks only the Oscar-nominated film starring Gael Garcia Bernal will be available to watch on Curzon on Demand and to rent from iTunes.

No has proved to be an exceptional arthouse hit, racking up over a quarter of a million pounds at the UK box office so far, despite only opening on 15 screens. Gael Garcia Bernal attended a sell out Q&A at London’s Curzon Soho and even spoke about the fact behind the fiction on the BBC’s Newsnight and on Channel 4 News, both times accompanied by Eugenio Garcia – the Chilean advertising executive on whom Bernal’s character in the film is partly based.

No, the first ever Chilean film to be nominated for an Academy Award, is the story of a group advertising executives in Chile in the 1980s given the almost impossible task of ousting vicious dictator Augusto Pinochet with just 15 minutes of TV exposure in the early hours of the morning.
