COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

Based in Hammersmith, West London

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity in the Entertainment sector for an experienced Communications Officer.  You will play a key role in creating and implementing communication plans for our diverse and ever expanding range of content.

Working within Network’s in-house Communications team you will have a broad range of responsibilities delivering across creative, advertising, PR, digital, data and analysis.

The Communications Officer will report to the Head of Media and Communications and key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the creation and implementation of Network’s marketing and communications plans;
  • Creating content (visual and copy) for a wide range of TV series and films;
  • Planning, delivering and measuring the success of campaigns;
  • Contributing ideas for the overall tone of voice and authenticity of content to appeal to different audiences;
  • Leading press screenings, talent interviews and managing events.
  • Developing and managing relationships with external agencies and third parties.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have:

Essential:

  • At least two years experience in a similar role;
  • A flair for creating imaginative and engaging content with attention to detail and an eye for consistency;
  • A highly analytical approach to marketing with a strong focus on metrics and results;
  • Experience of creating social media strategies and stories to drive engagement;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • An interest in film, TV and digital media;
  • A willingness to learn;
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload with minimal supervision;
  • The ability to communicate confidently and have excellent interpersonal skills with an approachable nature and a positive attitude.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in the home entertainment industry;
  • Knowledge of best practices and latest trends in digital marketing, e-Commerce, digital content consumption.

NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER                              

Based in Hammersmith, West London

The Role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen within our busy Sales team for an experienced National Accounts Manager. We’re looking for a talented sales person to take responsibility for developing and managing some of our key accounts: Amazon, FBA, Marketplace and e-Bay.

You’ll work closely with other teams across the business to commercially exploit all titles through their life cycle – you’ll ensure stock levels are maintained and consumer awareness maximised as well as providing key support to the sales team.

The National Account Manager will report to the Head of Sales and be responsible for:

  • Managing Network’s Amazon FBA, Marketplace and e-Bay accounts;
  • Selling into a portfolio of national accounts and platforms;
  • Building strong trading relationships with customer base and maximising sales opportunities;
  • Ensuring product returns are minimised;
  • Assisting the Finance team with credit control issues;
  • Working closely with other teams across the business to assist them in maximising stock to orders levels and consumer awareness;
  • Maximising distribution of new release and revenue from back catalogue and catalogue sales;
  • Providing Sales administration support and taking on additional projects as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

You will have:

  • A strong FMCG background with at least four years sales experience ideally including Amazon, FBA and Marketplace;
  • A highly analytical approach, excellent negotiation skills and able to work under pressure.
  • Advanced Excel skills;
  • A passion for our product and an ability to build in depth product knowledge.
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload with minimal supervision;

DIGITAL ASSET MANAGER                                        

Based in Hammersmith, West London

The Role:

This is an exciting role for an enthusiastic and experienced asset manager who can help us administer and protect our rich and varied catalogue of archive television and groundbreaking film.

The Digital Asset Manager will report to the Head of Studio and be responsible for:

  • assessing current processes and, where required, designing and implementing a new system to effectively catalogue our digital assets;
  • maintaining an accurate and up-to-date record of our digital and physical (tape, film etc) assets to make it easier for users to search for and find products;
  • creating digital files of all products for use across various VOD/DTO platforms;
  • developing an effective asset database so that all departments across the company can access accurate information easily and quickly;
  • working closely with the Studio team, taking on additional projects and providing support when necessary.

 The Ideal Candidate:

You will have:

  • at least two years’ experience of managing digital assets and creating and maintaining a database;
  • knowledge of audio formats and digital graphics formats;
  • have excellent analytical skills and be data driven with excellent attention to detail;
  • a good balance between technical understanding and commercial acumen;
  • a keen interest in IT equipment and software;
  • strong organisational and prioritisation skills;
  • the ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload with minimal supervision;
  • the ability to communicate confidently and have excellent interpersonal skills with an approachable nature and a positive attitude.
