PART-TIME PRODUCTION ASSISTANT (fixed term of six months)

An exciting part-time opportunity has arisen in our busy production team. Based in Hammersmith , West London this role offers a great opportunity to develop your administrative and operational skills within the Home Entertainment sector.

This is a temporary, part-time role working 15 hours per week. Working patterns are negotiable but our preference would be for working hours to be spread across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week.

The Role:

The Production Assistant will report to our Production Manager and will provide administrative support to enable Production, and other departments across the company, ensure that our products are manufactured in the quantity required to meet customer needs.

A key priority will be to ensure that stock levels of all our titles are monitored and, where necessary, reordered on a daily basis. You will be responsible for ensuring that any issues with the manufacturing process are addressed swiftly to ensure we have sufficient levels of high quality stock to fulfil customer orders.

You will also be responsible for managing online information ensuring that our titles are uploaded to our external online retail outlets and our company website.

You will help to ensure both the Production and Sales departments operate efficiently by managing the internal DVD library, fulfilling orders for stock, preparing reports and liaising with external agents including the British Board of Film Classification.

The role involves providing general administrative support which includes ordering office and studio supplies, creating purchase orders and managing the weekly diary.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • You will be a strong administrator with working knowledge of managing stock and production processes and, preferably, with experience of working with online retailers.
  • You will be able to communicate confidently with external clients and have excellent interpersonal skills with an approachable nature and a positive, flexible attitude.
  • You will have excellent attention to detail.
  • You will have excellent customer-service skills and preferably some experience of handling customer queries.
  • With strong organisational and prioritisation skills, you will have the ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload with minimal supervision and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to use a PC and a MAC.
