Julie Walters and Victoria Wood star in this classic Christmas sketch show from 1991. This special is written by (and starring) acclaimed writers Alan Bennett, Willy Russell and Alan Bleasdale (as well as Wood, herself) – four writers who were instrumental in working with Walters throughout her career and who are responsible for some of her undoubted successes.

This seasonal special will appeal to fans of Wood and Walters, Bleasdale, Russell and Bennett’s writing (GBH, EDUCATING RITA, TALKING HEADS), Acorn Antiques (now a hit musical in London’s West End) and archive television fans. The writers’ work won them a Writers' Guild of Great Britain Award for Best TV Light Entertainment Programme.
