Second Thoughts: The Complete Series 1

One of the 90s favourite sitcoms returns in this first series of SECOND THOUGHTS, starring James Bolam and Lynda Bellingham as two middle-aged divorcees trying to maintain a crumbling relationship, seemingly against all odds. Bill (James Bolam) has to deal with Faith’s teenage children (one of whom is played by Julia Sawalha (PRESS GANG), but Faith has to deal with Bill’s ex-wife (Belinda Lang (DEAR JOHN, 2.4 CHILDREN) who seems intent on trying to disrupt their relationship.

Adapted from a long-running and successful Radio 4 comedy series (with largely the same cast), SECOND THOUGHTS lasted for five successful series between 1991 and 1994 and is one of the most fondly-remembered sitcoms of the last few decades. This DVD contains all seven episodes of the first series from 1991.

This release will appeal to fans of James Bolam, sit-coms in general and archive television fans.
