Assault

Following the brutal rape of a 16-year-old girl in a wooded common, Det. Chief Supt. Velyan (Frank Finlay – Casanova, Prime Suspect) employs unorthodox measures to catch the maniac. He listens intently to Doctor Greg Lomax’s (Jamie Laurenson – Spooks, Hustle) rudimentary profiling techniques in the hope that it will provide an insight into the man’s behaviour. But when a second schoolgirl is raped – and this time murdered – Julie West (Suzy Kendall – To Sir, With Love, The Sandwich Man), a teacher at the girl’s school and only eyewitness to the murder, sketches the man’s face and puts her own life at risk in a bid to trap the killer…
