The Uncanny is a blood-curdling collection of horror short stories produced by Milton Subotsky, the producer of The House that Dripped Blood, Tales from The Crypt and Asylum, with cinematography from Harry Waxman (The Wicker Man, Brighton Rock). This cult horror film from 1977 not only features memorable performances from both Cushing and Milland, but this eerie tale of feline fatality also includes memorable support from co-stars including Joan Greenwood (The Importance of Being Earnest), Susan Penhaligon (Bouquet of Barbed Wire) and Donald Pleasence (Death Line).
