The highly popular semi-sequel to ABC's smash-hit Pathfinders trilogy, the two Beneath the Sea series star Gerald Flood as an intrepid reporter once again caught up in situations beyond his control. Created by cult favourite writer John Lucarotti (known for his memorable work on Doctor Who, The Avengers, Into the Labyrinth and Star Maidens) both series see scientific journalist Mark Bannerman and his assistant Peter Blake get into (and out of!) all manner of aquatic scrapes.

When Bannerman and Blake are invited aboard an atomic submarine to observe the trials of a new underwater transmitter, they embark on an adventure which leads them into the depths of inner space.
